Guantao Honors | Guantao was nominated for ALB Hong Kong Law Awards 2025

Recently, Asian Legal Business (ALB), a professional legal media affiliated to Thomson Reuters, officially announced the shortlist for the "ALB Hong Kong Law Awards 2025". Based on its strong regional strength and outstanding market performance, Guantao was nominated for " PRC Law Firm, Hong Kong Office of the Year ".

Guantao’s Hong Kong Office was established in December 2008. After three years of association with P.C. Woo & Co. (PCWCC), the office obtained approval from the Law Society of Hong Kong to complete its localization in February 2016. In April 2024, it entered into an association with Gallant, further enhancing the firm’s ability to provide high-quality Hong Kong and PRC legal services to its clients.

The establishment of the Hong Kong Office marks a critical step in advancing and expanding Guantao’s core practices. As a fully localized office, it serves as a strategic hub for the firm’s internationalization. Its practice areas cover corporate and finance, mergers and acquisitions and restructuring, capital markets, foreign investment, intellectual property, dispute resolution, real estate transactions, wealth management, company secretarial services, China-attested notarial services, and international notarization, with a particular focus on cross-border transactions. The Hong Kong Office will make full use of Hong Kong’s geographic advantages to further consolidate and integrate lawyer and client resources, enabling Guantao to provide high-quality, efficient, and seamless legal services to clients both in mainland China and overseas.

The 24th ALB Hong Kong Law Awards 2025 aim to recognize law firms, in-house legal teams, and individual practitioners that have demonstrated outstanding performance in the region. The final award winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in September.
